Dishwasher Job Description

 At Worth every job leads to the ultimate goal which is to create an awesome experience for our guests. From dishwasher and prep cook to Executive Chef, each role plays a vital part in contributing to a smooth flow of the restaurant and in turn a positive guest experience. 

Daily Tasks

  • Keep the restaurant running smoothly by washing prep dishes, plate-ware and glassware through the three compartment sink, and helping to polish glassware. 

  • Keep the dish/prep room clean and organized, the kitchen floors mopped and sanitized, and monitor sanitation buckets.

  • Maintain adequate levels of clean plates and glassware and prevent any breakage or loss.

  • Follow proper rules of hygiene and food safety measures.

Additional Job Requirements 

  • Efficient, effective, and passionate about cleanliness. 

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and loud environment, while still having an eye for workplace safety. 

  • Should have excellent English communication skills.

  • Comfortable standing for long periods of time, and capable of lifting up to 50 pounds. 

  • Ideal candidate will have the ability to work weekends and some holidays.
