FOH - Cashier Job Description

At Worth every job leads to the ultimate goal which is to create an awesome experience for our guests. From dishwasher and prep cook to Executive Chef, each role plays a vital part in contributing to a smooth flow of the restaurant and in turn a positive guest experience. 

Daily Tasks:

  • Greet guests and warmly welcome to the restaurant upon arrival.

  • Make all of our guests feel comfortable and let them know you are there to personally take care of them.

  • Know regular guests by name; know their preferences and needs.

  • When a line forms make sure guests waiting in the line have menus, are greeted and know about our specials so that they are ready to order by the time they reach the register. 

  • Thank guests as they leave.

  • Complete daily side work including but not limited to: brewing coffee and tea, stamping bags with logo, stickering cups, stocking sauces and spreads, keeping the dining room clean, bathroom checks.

Additional Job Requirements 

  • Be a people-person who loves creating a welcoming atmosphere and giving great service. 

  • Should have experience working with customers or restaurant guests. 

  • Excellent English speaking and writing skills are important and you should be comfortable working with computers. 

  • It is important that you are able to stand for periods of time and, if needed, can lift up to 25 pounds. 

  • The ideal candidate will have the ability to work weekends and some holidays.
